Artist Statement

Brian Avadka Colez creates ultra-bright paintings and digital art. He often sketches his paintings into completed drawings before painting. Using homemade gesso he paints in the classical style. As an abstract expressionist, he is able to try new techniques such as glitter minimalism.

American Artist, Brian Avadka Colez creates ultra bright acrylic paintings and hybrid digital art. Colez’s most recent exhibition was a digital display at the Carrousel Du Louvre. He has actively shown art since 1996 including at Brookhaven College, Dallas Center for Contemporary, Perry Berns' Gallery, Rogue Space N.Y., Soho Digital Art (Soho Arthouse), Miami Artbox Project and Artbox Project Basel 1.0. His work has been published in the 2009 Dizionario Enciclopedico Internazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, the 2010 International Dictionary of Artists, the 2011 Modern Masters Art Book, the 2013 Cole's Semi Anthology Part 1, 2015 Cole's Portfolio Book Part 2 and 2016 Aesthetica Magazine. He has studied at Brookhaven College (1996) and University of Texas at Dallas (1997-2000).
