Statement I has always been motivated by a desire to intervene in our inequitable world, nourished by an ideal of social justice. And to act through art as an appropriate way to touch the sensitivity of others and to make people react. I seek to transmit a form of social denunciation allied to a personal emotional charge and carried by a symbolic imagination linked to natural and literary elements. In the pleasure of discovering and surprising myself, I work by taking inspiration from various sources, letting myself be guided by the energy of the moment. Much of my work comes from direct experimentation with materials and creative processes. I often work from the material itself, whether photographic, videographic, textual ... to then organize the meaning that emerges. I enjoy using technology as much as the manual work involved in painting, drawing or sculpture, as well as movement and sound. This excitement expresses the urgency I feel in front of a complex and deteriorating world. .. |
