"Following the language of my soul is a great adventure. Deciphering this language gives a conscious insight into the depth of one's own existence.."

The German-Egyptian artist was born and raised in Heidelberg. In her early childhood she preferred painting as an expression than the spoken language. After completing school and her nurse training, she got the offer to absolve a private art degree in Italy. She lived and studied in Sardegna with Franzesco Santini for 2 years. She continued her art education in Germany. This was followed by studies at the University of Cologne in the subjects of Egyptology, Islamic studies and Archeology and a 9 year Education in contempary and egyptian dance. With a focus on Egyptian dance, she was active on international stages, teaching dance, gymnastics and painting. The artist opened an Orient Shop in Bonn and realized her vision of connecting cultures, and bringing people closer to the sensual pleasures of the orient, a world full of color and warmth in her Orient Houses - Event Bistro and Restaurant "Ya Habibi". More than 20 years she was on stage and lived in oriental countries, where she tought art, dance and gymnastics. In 2015 her paintings were published together with poems by Franziska Pietsch in the Artist Book “Seelenlandschaften” by Karin Fischer Verlag. 2020 she founded the Artist Group N A S Art with the Artists Ayşe Yalcındağ and Serpil Topaloğlu. Nasrah Nefer unites the cultures of the Orient and Occident in herself and her art, as designs of Art Noveau and Art Deco shows. Theese Styles are her inspirations and a mirror of her artistic expression. Her artworks are presented in international exhibitions.
